A native from the small town of Winifred, Montana, Norm has come a long way from his humble beginnings. A graduate from Montana State University with a degree in mechanical engineering, Norm spent 28 years working his way up in the HVAC industry, culminating in his leadership of AAON since 1988.
Norm Asbjornson fully believes in giving back to his communities. In 2014, Norm donated $50 million to Montana State University’s College of Engineering and AAON donated $3 million to the George Kaiser Family Foundation project, A Gathering Place for Tulsa – a 100-acre park that will transform the riverfront of Tulsa. Norm is heavily involved in numerous organizations like Junior Achievement, Tulsa Area United Way, Tulsa Rotary, Tulsa Young Professionals, Camp Fire Green Country, Myanmar Community Social Services Department, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Sean Kouplen is the Chairman & CEO of Regent Bank, a small businesses owner and investor, and a popular author and speaker.
Regent Bank has been named the Oklahoma Small Business Financial Services Champion by the Small Business Administration, and was recently named the Central U.S. Community Banker of the Year by the ICBA.
Kouplen was the cofounder of Bixby Outreach Center and Southpoint Church, where he serves as an Elder. He holds numerous local and statewide leadership positions, including OSU-Tulsa Board of Trustees, Tulsa Chamber Small Business Council, Eastern OK Donated Dental Services, Young President’s Organization and Chairman of the Board for OneFire Holding Company- the Creek Nation’s business holding company.
Kouplen’s many awards include Journal Record’s Most Admired CEO, his fraternity’s top national alumni award, Citizen of the Year in Bixby, and being named to Oklahoma Magazine and Tulsa Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 lists.
Wesley G. Mitchell
Wes is Director, ITO Account Delivery with Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Wes is responsible for service delivery from the data processing production facilities located in Tulsa, Oklahoma focused on Transportation Delivery. This large processing environment (39,000+ mainframe MIPS, 12,000 + midrange servers, and 100,000+ desktop devices in 400 global locations) supports global clients with mission critical zero outage compute platforms. Wes oversaw growth that filled the over 80,000 square foot Cherokee Data Center. He worked with local officials and Tax Authorities to create a Tax Incentive District to assist in the funding of the recently completed build out of an additional 80,000 square feet.
Wes is a graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing where he lettered in football. Wes Mitchell lives in Owasso, Oklahoma with his wife Yolanda, and two sons: Wesley, Jr. and Jordan Alexander both Eagle Scouts. He enjoys spending time with his family, and stays involved in his community. Wes is a Wood Badge trained Assistant Scout Master, and member of the Executive board of the Indian Nations Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Wes’s other Executive Board memberships include the Owasso Education Foundation (Chair Elect), Junior Achievement of Oklahoma, Tulsa Community College Foundation, Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Vestry of Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross (Sr. Warden).
Lori Pumphrey is the Chief Financial Officer for United States Beef Corporation (US Beef), a privately held corporation owned by the Davis family, and headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. US Beef is the largest franchisee in the world of the Arby’s Restaurant Group, operating over 330 Arby’s restaurants located in eight contiguous Midwestern and Western states, including Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois, and six Taco Bueno (Tex-Mex) restaurants located in Northwest Arkansas.
Pumphrey currently serves as State Board Chair for Junior Achievement of Oklahoma, as well as serving on the Junior Achievement Tulsa Region Board of Directors. She also served on the 2014 Tulsa Regional Chamber Board of Directors.
Pumphrey is a member of EWF International Forum, the American Institute of CPA’s and the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s. She was also nominated and selected as one of eighteen Women of Distinction in the Tulsa Business Journal’s class of 2011. Pumphrey is a KPMG alumnus, and a graduate of Oklahoma State University.
